Beef brisket (flat cut)
Yellow onions
Garlic
Beef broth
Balsamic vinegar
Brown sugar
Dijon mustard
Worcestershire sauce
Cornstarch (optional)

Instructions
- Sear the Brisket: Season brisket with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet until browned on both sides, about 4–5 minutes per side.
- Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, cook onions and garlic until golden and fragrant.
- Assemble in Slow Cooker: Add onions and garlic to slow cooker. Place brisket on top. Mix broth, vinegar, sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire; pour over brisket.
- Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours or HIGH for 5–6 hours, until tender.
- Slice and Thicken Gravy (Optional): Rest brisket 10 minutes, then slice against the grain. Thicken gravy with cornstarch slurry if desired.
- Serve: Spoon onion gravy over slices, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
