Beef brisket (flat cut)

Yellow onions

Garlic

Beef broth

Balsamic vinegar

Brown sugar

  3. Assemble in Slow Cooker: Add onions and garlic to slow cooker. Place brisket on top. Mix broth, vinegar, sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire; pour over brisket.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours or HIGH for 5–6 hours, until tender.
  5. Slice and Thicken Gravy (Optional): Rest brisket 10 minutes, then slice against the grain. Thicken gravy with cornstarch slurry if desired.
