Ingredients
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz each)
2 packets chicken gravy mix
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. If thick, cut into smaller chunks.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, water, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper until smooth.
3. Pour gravy mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
4. Once chicken is fully cooked and tender, remove and shred or chop. Return it to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
5. Stir in sour cream until fully blended and creamy.
6. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
Use boneless chicken thighs for a richer flavor and more tender texture.
Add vegetables like carrots or peas in the last hour of cooking for a complete one-pot meal.
