Description

This Spicy Korean Ramen with Grilled Beef & Creamy Sauce is a flavor-packed bowl layered with chewy ramen noodles, seared marinated steak, caramelized vegetables, and a cool, creamy sauce. Perfectly balanced between spicy, savory, and rich, it’s a bold comfort dish that’s fast enough for a weeknight and special enough to impress.

Ingredients

2 packs ramen noodles (fresh or frozen preferred)

8 oz ribeye or sirloin steak

1 tablespoon gochujang

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey

1 tablespoon oil (for searing)

1/2 cup onion, sliced

1/2 cup carrots, julienned

1/2 cup bell pepper, sliced

1/2 cup kimchi (optional)

2 green onions, chopped

2 eggs, soft-boiled (optional)

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Sriracha

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar or honey. Add the steak and marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear the marinated steak 2–3 minutes per side. Rest and slice thinly.

3. Mix mayonnaise, Sriracha, and rice vinegar in a small bowl to make the creamy sauce. Set aside.

4. In the same skillet, sauté onions, carrots, and bell peppers until caramelized. Add kimchi if using and cook 1 more minute.

5. Boil ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

6. Divide noodles into bowls. Add vegetables, sliced beef, and soft-boiled egg halves.

7. Spoon creamy sauce over the center, sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.

Notes

For maximum flavor, allow steak to marinate at least 1 hour.

Use fresh ramen noodles for the best texture. Avoid overcooking.

Add kimchi last to preserve its crunch and tang.
