Ingredients
16 oz cream cheese, softened
0.5 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
0.5 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1.25 cups sugar cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
red and green gel food coloring (if making your own dough)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
0.25 cup powdered sugar
0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and line an 8-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
3. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Stir in sour cream and vanilla until well combined.
4. Color portions of sugar cookie dough red and green if desired. Roll into 0.5-inch balls.
5. Gently fold cookie dough balls into cheesecake batter.
6. Pour mixture into the prepared pan. Tap to release air bubbles.
7. Bake for 45–50 minutes or until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
8. Cool in oven with door ajar for 1 hour, then chill in fridge at least 4 hours or overnight.
9. Beat whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
10. Spread or pipe over the chilled cheesecake.
