Description

This cheesy, comforting baked dinner is the ultimate solution for busy nights when you need something quick, satisfying, and full of flavor. With layers of seasoned beef, rich sauce, and melted cheese, it delivers everything you want in an easy dinner, weeknight meal, or cozy comfort food. Perfect for family dinners, meal prep, or simple food ideas that don’t require complicated steps.

Ingredients

8 to 10 lasagna noodles or large flour tortillas

1 lb ground beef

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups enchilada sauce or marinara sauce

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded cheese for topping

2 tablespoons chopped parsley or green onions optional

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain excess grease.

3. Stir in sour cream and half of the sauce, mixing until creamy and heated through.

4. Spread a thin layer of sauce in the baking dish. Add noodles or tortillas, then beef mixture, then cheese. Repeat layers.

5. Finish with remaining sauce and top with extra cheese.

6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 to 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

7. Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Let the dish rest before slicing so it holds its shape better.

Use a blend of cheeses for the best melt and flavor balance.

Swap beef with turkey or plant based meat for a lighter version.
