This Ultimate Seafood Boil is a celebration on a platter—brimming with shrimp, crab legs, corn, potatoes, and smoky sausage all tossed in a buttery garlic sauce. Perfect for summer gatherings, backyard feasts, or whenever you want to impress with minimal fuss and big flavor.
Ingredients
1 pound large shell-on shrimp
2 pounds crab legs (snow or king crab)
4 ears corn on the cob, cut into thirds
1.5 pounds baby potatoes
12 ounces andouille sausage, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
3 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
1 cup unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chopped parsley or chives (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Fill a large stockpot with water, squeeze in the lemon slices, and bring to a boil.
2. Add baby potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until just tender.
3. Add the corn and boil an additional 5 minutes.
4. Add sliced andouille sausage and crab legs; cook together for another 5 minutes.
5. Add the shrimp and boil 2–3 minutes, just until pink and opaque.
6. In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
7. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
8. Add Old Bay seasoning and simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
9. Drain the seafood and vegetables from the pot.
10. Transfer to a large tray and pour the garlic butter sauce generously over everything.
11. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives and serve hot with lemon wedges.
Notes
Don’t overcook the shrimp—they cook fast and become rubbery when left too long.
Use shell-on shrimp for juicier texture and better flavor.
Make the garlic butter sauce while the seafood is boiling to save time.
