Description

This festive and flavorful Valentine’s Strawberry Cheesecake Puppy Chow is a no-bake treat that’s sweet, crunchy, and bursting with strawberry and cheesecake flavor. Perfect for classroom parties, cozy movie nights, or packaging into cute gift bags for your loved ones. Quick to whip up and easy to customize with fun add-ins like heart-shaped sprinkles or marshmallows!

Ingredients

2 cups Rice Chex cereal

1 cup white chocolate chips

3 tablespoons strawberry cake mix

2 tablespoons cheesecake instant pudding mix

1/2 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons Valentine’s sprinkles or heart candies

1/2 cup mini marshmallows or pink candy melts (optional)

Instructions

1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment or wax paper and set aside.

2. In a large bowl, add the Rice Chex cereal.

3. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring each time until fully smooth.

4. Pour melted white chocolate over the cereal and gently stir to coat evenly.

5. In a gallon-sized zip-top bag, combine strawberry cake mix, cheesecake pudding mix, and powdered sugar.

6. Add the coated cereal into the bag, seal, and shake vigorously until all pieces are fully coated.

7. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet to cool and set.

8. Once cool, mix in sprinkles, mini marshmallows, or pink candy melts.

9. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 7 days.

Notes

Use gluten-free Rice Chex and double-check all other ingredients to make this recipe fully gluten-free.

You can substitute vanilla pudding mix for cheesecake flavor, and add a touch of cream cheese extract for that tangy taste.

Make ahead and store in decorative jars or bags—this treat keeps fresh and crunchy for several days.
