Ingredients
1 ½ pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
¼ cup olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shrimp to a large resealable bag or dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375–400°F).
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers or prepare to place them directly on the grill.
- Grill shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side, until opaque and slightly charred.
- Remove from the grill and transfer to a platter. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
- Serve hot with your favorite side dishes or as a starter.
