Description

These Breakfast Crescent Rolls are a quick breakfast packed with fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and melty cheddar wrapped in buttery crescent dough. They are an easy recipe for busy mornings, brunch gatherings, breakfast ideas, and simple food ideas when you want a warm handheld meal that feels special without much work.

Ingredients

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

6 slices bacon

4 large eggs

2 tablespoons milk

1 tablespoon butter

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped parsley, optional

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then transfer to paper towels and crumble.

3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.

4. Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat and scramble the eggs just until set.

5. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.

6. Add a spoonful of scrambled eggs to the wide end of each triangle.

7. Top each with crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.

8. Roll each crescent from the wide end to the pointed tip and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

9. Bake for 11 to 14 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

10. Cool for 3 to 5 minutes, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Let the scrambled eggs cool slightly before filling the dough so the crescents are easier to roll.

Do not overfill each triangle or the rolls may open while baking.

Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer for the best flaky texture.
