Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 medium yellow onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup chopped pickles or cooked bacon (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and diced onion until fully cooked.
- Drain excess fat. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes. Add the cream of mushroom soup and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Stir until well combined. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture

Always use frozen tater tots straight from the bag to ensure they crisp properly.
