  • Author: Jam Scott
  • Total Time: 42 minute
  • Yield: 3-4 servings

Description

Crispy on the outside and tender inside, these air fryer seasoned French fries are a game-changing snack or side dish. Bursting with bold spices and perfectly golden thanks to minimal oil, they’re the healthier way to get your fry fix.

Ingredients

2 large Russet potatoes

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for extra crunch)

Dried parsley or chives (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Scrub and peel potatoes if desired. Cut into ¼-inch thick sticks.
  2. Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove starch.
  3. Drain and thoroughly dry the potatoes.
  4. Toss in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cornstarch.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed).
  7. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  8. Remove once golden and crisp. Garnish with parsley or chives if desired.
