Ingredients

All-purpose flour

Baking soda

Salt

Unsalted butter

Brown sugar

Granulated sugar

Vanilla extract

Egg

Chocolate chips

Mini candy-coated chocolate eggs


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream softened butter with brown and granulated sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla extract and egg; mix until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and most of the candy eggs, reserving a few for topping.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheets and press reserved candy eggs on top.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  8. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack.
