Ingredients

1 to 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
4 croissants
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy.
3. Add the egg, almond extract, vanilla extract, and salt, then mix until smooth.
4. Stir in the almond flour and all-purpose flour until a thick filling forms.
5. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream as needed to make the filling soft and spreadable.
6. Slice the croissants in half lengthwise and spread the almond filling generously inside each one.
7. Spoon a little extra filling over the tops of the croissants if desired.
