Description

This Peanut Butter Cup Dump Cake is a rich, gooey chocolate dessert packed with creamy peanut butter, melty candy pieces, and fudgy cake texture in every bite. It is the perfect easy recipe for busy weeknights, potlucks, birthday desserts, holiday treats, and anyone looking for quick dessert ideas, chocolate dessert ideas, easy baking recipes, and crowd-pleasing food ideas.

Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix

1 box instant chocolate pudding mix (3.9 ounces)

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

1 1/2 cups mini peanut butter cups, chopped

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, mix the chocolate cake mix, instant chocolate pudding mix, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.

3. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.

4. Warm the peanut butter slightly, then spoon it over the batter.

5. Sprinkle the chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips evenly over the top.

6. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk all over the surface.

7. Use a knife to gently swirl the top layers without fully mixing them.

8. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is still slightly gooey.

9. Let the cake rest for 15 minutes before serving.

10. Serve warm on its own or with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Warm the peanut butter for a few seconds so it drizzles more easily over the batter.

Do not overbake this cake because the center should stay soft and fudgy.

For an extra indulgent finish, top each serving with extra chopped peanut butter cups or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
