Description

A quick, protein-packed appetizer that combines creamy cheese with savory salami, these roll-ups are perfect for parties, snacks, or lunchbox additions. They’re customizable, low-carb, and ready in minutes.


Ingredients

20 slices of salami (Genoa or hard salami)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons finely chopped chives or green onions

Optional: 2 tablespoons chopped pickles, olives, or jalapeños


Instructions

  1. Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature for 30 minutes or microwave for 10 seconds.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese with chives or green onions. Add optional ingredients if using.
  3. Lay out each salami slice and spread about a teaspoon of the cheese mixture across the center.
  4. Roll up tightly and place seam-side down on a plate.
  5. Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving to help set the shape.
  6. Slice into bite-sized pinwheels if desired or serve whole.
