Ingredients

For the Chicken
  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Fries
  • 1 bag thick-cut French fries
  • Salt to taste
For the Salad
  • Cucumber slices
  • Tomato wedges
  • Red onion slices
  • Lettuce
For the Creamy Dipping Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Splash of lemon juice

Method

Instructions
  1. Combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. This ensures all seasonings are evenly distributed.
  2. Pat chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle the spice mixture generously over each piece, coating all sides evenly.
  3. Arrange drumsticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer. Roast at 425°F for 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through, until skin is deep golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. While chicken roasts, bake frozen French fries according to package directions. Season with salt immediately after removing from oven.
  5. Whisk together mayonnaise, garlic powder, dried parsley, and a splash of fresh lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth.
  6. Slice cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onions. Arrange with lettuce on plates or in a bowl for serving.
  7. Arrange drumsticks, fries, and salad on plates with creamy dipping sauce on the side. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before seasoning for crispier skin. Don't skip turning the drumsticks halfway through cooking for even browning. The lemon juice in the dipping sauce is key for brightening the flavors. Thick-cut fries hold up better than thin ones during cooking.
