Ingredients
4 sleeves of saltine crackers
1 cup canola or vegetable oil
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Optional: dried parsley or cracked sea salt for garnish
Instructions
- Place the crackers upright in a clean gallon-sized zip-top bag or sealable container.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the oil, ranch seasoning, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the oil mixture evenly over the crackers.
- Seal the bag or container and gently flip or rotate several times to coat the crackers well.
- Let sit at room temperature for at least 4 hours, flipping occasionally.
- Once fully soaked and seasoned, serve as-is or bake at 250°F for 15-20 minutes for extra crunch (optional).
